This past weekend, some of our membership met in Kentucky for our fall retreat! It was a weekend away filled with great people, great food, nature, and so many card games. During this time, our Board of Directors also met to have their Tri-annual board meeting in-person and virtually. During this meeting, many topics were discussed, including Conference 2026!! We are excited to announce that PII Conference 2026 will be in Michigan. We also had bids to fill all of our roles including conference coordinators, show director, choreographer, and band director. Work begins months before any of our members ever arrive to conference. Once the show director submits the set list for the show, the choreographers get to work creating the dances for all of the new songs, as well as relearning any repeat songs we perform that year. A lot of planning and coordination is required, which is not always easy when your team all live in different cities. But our three choreographers were able to work together and and communicate effectively to bring our show to life!
