Conservation. Education. Research. The In Situ Laboratory Initiave We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization focused on wildlife research and tropical biology training programs in Peru and India. Since 2009, we have trained more than 100 research scientists, and taught many others in short-term field courses. Primates Peru (DBA Field Projects International) conducts research and provides educational opportunities for a diverse international audience with an interest in tropical ecology and field biology. Such work is carried out through short-term and long-term training programs based at field stations in Peru and India. Our strength lies in bringing experienced biologists and exceptional teachers together with students of all backgrounds in order to educate the next generation of natural historians and conservationists. In addition, our research, outreach initiatives, and global partnerships further support the the goal of conserving and protecting threatened ecosystems worldwide.
