Give Black Alliance is shifting the narrative in philanthropy from a pervasive and damaging focus on deficits within the Black community to shining a light on the considerable potential and financial leverage to increase the assets in communities with the power of Black philanthropy. We accomplish this by creating strong alliances between funders and Black communities and providing tools and resources to help foundations and other giving organizations make informed grantmaking decisions. WE INFORM WE REFORM WE TRANSFORM OUR GIVING CITIES RESEARCH We Give Black by identifying areas of need in the community developing sustainable operations models educating the public about community needs and building networks of donors and service providers.
