Community Character Coalition of Elk Grove Recognizes Student Patrols at Salt Creek Elementary School On Thursday May 22, 2025, Community Character Coalition of Elk Grove (CCC) recognized 53 Student Patrols at Salt Creek Elementary School in Elk Grove Village. Coalition members on the Youth Recognition Team and school staff sponsors celebrated with students to recognize their service and leadership in the school. Student Patrols help the younger students feel safe and follow the rules while at school. Students work hard to demonstrate positive behaviors that others choose to follow. Student Patrols took their job very seriously as they serve as role models for students throughout the school. Student Patrols were presented with a recognition certificate for their CARING. Students enjoyed a pizza lunch and received a 6 Pillar bookmark provided by CCC. We are proud of the positive character demonstrated by these students as they strive to keep students safe and focused on learning! CCC recognizes youth in the community who demonstrate positive character through their personal behaviors and work within their home, school, neighborhood and community.
