🥳 Big shoutout to our 2024–25 AmeriCorps Promise Fellows, Annie and Aggie! 🌟 The NUY team gathered after hours to celebrate and send off two amazing youth advocates. Annie served the full school year with steady commitment, and Aggie jumped in mid-year with heart. Both made a lasting impact. Annie and Aggie showed up with consistency, compassion, and a fierce commitment to youth voice and empowerment. They reflected on the privilege of witnessing growth, the hard moments that come with doing this work well, and the beauty of being trusted by young people. NUY relies on Promise Fellows (and interns!) to keep our doors open 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Their presence ensures we maintain safe youth-to-adult ratios and a well-staffed space where young people can feel seen, heard, and supported.
