Normac is in Victoria Falls! He has had quite the journey, from Binga district to Victoria Falls and Botswana even! Our Victoria Falls team headed out to track him as we got a call from Isaac that he was nearby. Due to the thick bush, we were unable to see him during our tracking efforts, but were very close! We did see another elephant bull, as you can see in the distance in the video ☺️ It seems that Normac is together with a larger breeding herd at the moment. ALERT African Lion Environmental Research Trust If we act now we can ensure the survival of this iconic species Welcome to ALERT Lions are currently listed as Vulnerable on the International Union for Conservation of Nature IUCN Red List of Threatened Species. In West Africa the species is now classified as Critically Endangered. Just over one hundred years ago there were once more than 200000 wild lions living in Africa. Today there are only about 20000 wild lions taking the plains of Africa.
