Repost from @clsphila • The Rowhouse Protection Project aims to preserve Philadelphia’s homes against damage due to adjacent or nearby construction by helping clients negotiate with neighboring construction projects, navigate the City’s complaint, zoning, and permitting process, and if necessary, to file suit to hold builders accountable. We May Be Able to Assist You If... - Your home has been affected by adjacent construction. “Home” can include the backyard, roof, porches, shared party walls, sidewalk in front of the house, or easements behind the rowhouse. - You see builders of the development adjacent to your home going on or using your property to do construction on their project. - You are facing code enforcement issues, such as L&I violations, brought by the City in connection with nearby development that you did not start. - You are concerned about impending development nearby that could potentially damage your home. - Your household income is at or below 60 percent of Area Median income (e.g. $61,950 for a household of 3).
