Non-Profit and Parent Based Adult Day Training Program for Adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities located in Danville, KY. Holland-Farm, as a Day Training Program for Adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, provides skill training in daily living that supports the independence of our participants. This non-profit parent based program provides an educational and learning opportunity in a rural environment for recipients of the Supports for Community Living and Michelle P. Waivers. Because of the generous donations of our supporters in 2015, we have been able to support two individuals on full scholarship at Holland-Farm through the 2016 year. Our program is self-designed according to our participants. We strive to promote learning in a non-threatening environment, where individuals learn at their own pace, their own individualized goals and objectives which are important to and important for the participant. Our focus centers on utilizing rural space to work towards positive community contribution and involvement. We strive to develop strong social connections and support networks within the larger area of Boyle County. We are the only non-profit parent based agency in the Boyle County area. Our mission and values support an environment that promotes dignity and self-worth which lead to relationships and inclusion in community life.
