If you’re local to Atlanta, you might recall the news articles a couple of weeks ago about a motel in Roswell being closed down after a human trafficking bust. What the news articles didn’t mention, were the non-human victims of this case… One of our amazing foster team members somehow got wind of two scared little dogs that had seemingly been displaced when the motel shut down and ended up at Fulton County Animal Services. Whether they were owned by those directly involved in the case or by other residents of the motel, we will never know. But what we were able to find out is that both little boys were terrified and shut down - they weren’t going to last long in an overcrowded, chaotic shelter. This was a “no brainer” - we knew we had to help them. After a couple of weeks decompressing in foster homes, Seymour and Sherman are turning into the sweet, loving little guys we knew they could be! Both boys are between 2-3 years old and under 15 lbs. Seymour is some sort of Pomeranian/Spitz type mix and Sherman is a mix of who knows what - some sort of poodly, schnoodly little guy (although he does shed). Both boys are great with other dogs and both are currently fostering with cats as well! Interested in adopting?
