We are very pleased to share that yesterday the Board of Maine EMS presented LifeFlight rotor wing captain Karl Hatlemark with their EMS Excellence Award! The award states: “The EMS Excellence Award is conferred for contribution to the EMS system at the regional and/or state level. Recipients have demonstrated involvement and significant contribution in one or more areas of EMS activity (e.g., system development, education, administration, public education, quality/process improvement, etc.).” Karl has served as a dedicated member of our team for many years. His skill as a pilot and contributions to safety, flight operations, and ultimately the delivery of high-quality critical care have made a difference in thousands of lives and families across our state.
