The Department of Veterans Affairs dedicated the Southern Utah National Cemetery in Cedar City, Utah today. An estimated 13,434 regional Veterans will now have access to burial and memorial services with this 157th National Cemetery Administration cemetery. “This dedication expands VA’s initiative to provide Veterans with lasting resting places closer to their homes,” said Under Secretary for Memorial Affairs Sam Brown. “Generations of families will come to visit and remember their loved ones finding a place for spiritual comfort and healing.
