KWEA announces Alex Beck as president-elect for 2025-2026. Alex is a project manager at HDR Engineering with over a decade of experience in the water and wastewater industry. He specializes in asset management programs and collection system rehabilitation projects. He holds bachelor's degrees from the University of Kansas in geography and American studies as well as a Master of Business Administration from Park University. Alex has been actively involved with the Water Environment Federation (WEF) and KWEA, contributing as a reviewer for WEF’s Utility Management Symposia, is a SSSSS member, has held multiple roles within the Student & Young Professional (SYP) committee, and began his service on the executive board as the YP Trustee. Outside of his professional endeavors, Alex enjoys quality time with his wife, Nicole, and their two young sons. He also enjoys attending live sporting events, concerts, and weekend getaways whenever possible. (fb)
