We are proud to receive an Anoka County Statewide Health Improvement Partnership (SHIP) grant that supported our efforts to promote health and wellness through outdoor activities and gardening. With this funding, we were able to enhance our outdoor space with an ADA-compliant picnic table designed with extended ends to accommodate individuals using wheelchairs. We also received a large shed stocked with a wide variety of recreational and sports equipment including balls of all kinds, a soccer net, bocce ball, badminton, ladder toss, croquet, a complete wiffle ball set, toss and catch velcro sets, a batting tee, and agility rings for obstacle courses. The grant also helped us grow our Achieve Garden, where four raised planter boxes are filled with fresh produce like peppers, tomatoes, potatoes, strawberries, zucchini, spinach, onions, and a variety of herbs. In addition, our exercise group now benefits from new resistance bands and weights, further supporting active, healthy lifestyles for all participants. Thank you Anoka County SHIP! (fb)

After ten meaningful years, Achieve Services has made the difficult decision to close Achieve Clean. What began in 2015 as a way to create employment opportunities for adults with disabilities became so much more thanks to the incredible support from our customers, partners, and community. We are deeply grateful to everyone who believed in our mission and chose Achieve Clean laundry detergent for their laundry needs. While this chapter is coming to a close, we are already exploring new possibilities for the future. Stay connected with Achieve Services as we look ahead to what is next.
