Our fall cohort just graduated and we have officially finished our 2025 Empower Kingston program! Communities for Local Power is so proud of this amazing group who really hit the ground running and are going to do great things to decarbonize our buildings! Empower Kingston is half way through our fall program! 🍂 Check out Plumbing Trainees Vic, Jeremiah, Kanyae, and Samuel. These Empower Kingston apprentices have been working hard on various sustainable plumbing projects with @careyplumbingny and @ladyrooterny. They've been building old valve stems, learning the fundamentals of waterlines, septic and sewer, snaking drains, driving mini skid steers, replacing toilets, and more! (fb)

Communities for Local Power is HIRING. Communities for Local Power CLP formerly known as Citizens for Local Power is hiring an Executive Director. The Executive Director ED is responsible for key operational aspects of the organization including program management strategic planning budget oversight and external stakeholder relations. Working with the Associate Executive Director and the CLP Board and Kitchen Cabinet advisory group the ED will lead development and realization of the organizations overall vision and goals.
