We are deeply saddened by the passing of Diane Mendolia, one of the founders of Options for Community Living. Diane’s vision, dedication, and tireless advocacy for people with mental illness, disabilities, and those experiencing homelessness helped shape the organization we are today. Her leadership touched countless lives—both those we serve and the staff who were inspired by her guidance. Diane’s legacy of compassion, determination, and laughter will continue to guide Options for years to come. Rest in peace, Diane, and thank you for everything. (fb)

Opening doors for Long islanders since 1982 Options for Community Living Inc. provides housing support services and care coordination for people recovering from mental illness those living with HIVAIDS and other chronic health conditions. Many of the people we serve were formerly homeless. Options is a private notforprofit agency operating on Long Island since 1982.
