Partnership for Shelter Animals NYC (PSA NYC)'s mission is to improve the lives of NYC’s homeless and abandoned animals. Our primary focus is helping the animals at Animal Care Centers of NYC (ACC). In addition to providing beds and toys, and promoting adoption, volunteering and fostering, we also make up for lapses in supplies and provide critical medical care and equipment. We work with rescue groups to save At Risk animals, and sponsor an Volunteer Care Team dedicated to providing extra TLC to sick animals at ACC. In April 2020, we launched The Hungry Pet Project: Feeding Pets in Crisis, a Covid-19 Relief Effort, whose mission is to help financially struggling pet parents feed their pets, so pets can stay in their homes and off the street and out of the shelter.
