Rescue 101 Search and Rescue, Inc. Rescue 101 Search and Rescue’s contribution to SAR and disaster response is unique. Prior to the development of Rescue 101 SAR, no other SAR and disaster relief organization in Ohio provided the range of direct services that we provide (aerial photography, intelligence, unified command, volunteer management and emergency response team); rather, a wide range of local nonprofits, church groups, and athletic teams would converge on an area post-disaster in an unorganized and inefficient manner. Rescue 101 SAR is able to leverage the leadership, public safety, and ICS training of its veteran leader and command staff to bring order to this chaos, implement the systems necessary to process and analyze large volumes of information, develop a coherent plan of action, and then apply it.
