We're not a high-tech operation. But our kids are happy with 2 tables and a couple of boxes holding our little projector high enough watch The Story of Jesus at our recent Sunday School sleepover class. We get a lot of mileage out of the karaoke machine and cell phone that provided the video feed and sound on another great day here in Guatemala City! (fb)

Guatemala was hit with a series of shallow earthquakes this afternoon causing multiple landslides and widespread damage. Aftershocks continue. We have some cleaning up to do in our home as items fell off shelves and walls. But we enjoyed the unscheduled block party with all of our neighbors and their dogs. Our volunteers and mission families appear to be okay. At least one structure collapsed near to our La Isla (Santa Fe) feeding program. Minor damage reported near other sites. We'll head out when the roads are clear to check everyone out and assist anyone we can. Please keep our mission families and volunteers in your prayers. (fb)
