Welcome to the Old Bristol Historical Society. About Our Society Founded in 2003 the Old Bristol Historical Society OBHS located in Bristol Maine is a charitable and educational nonprofit corporation serving the public. In addition to collecting preserving and sharing objects and archival materials relevant to Bristols history the OBHS also hosts a summer lecture series organizes history tours for our schoolchildren and publishes a semiannual newsletter. In 2020 the society established the Bristol History Center at 2089 Bristol Road which includes the historic Mill at Pemaquid Falls.
