I'd like to introduce "Seven". He is a 5-year old neutered male MaltiPoo. He weighs 16 pounds, up to date on vaccines and heartworm negative. He is good with adults but not children. He is house trained and crate trained. Seven is a sweet little man despite his difficult past. He was originally purchased from a breeder and lived with a family with children and another dog. Unfortunately he suffered chemical burns when a family member tried to dye his fur green. He was surrendered when his owners could no longer afford his care. The SPCA nursed him back to health over several months, but the experience of being at the shelter and getting painful bandage changes left him very anxious around other dogs. He is coming out of his shell in his foster home and showing his funny and playful personality again. He will need very slow introductions. He will try to nip if he perceives a treat. He is missing some fur due to the burns but luckily looks great in a sweater and loves wearing clothes. Despite all hehas been through he is very sweet with his people. He loves snuggling up on the couch and protests with adorable little grunts if you stop petting him. Seven is looking for an adult only home where he can soak up all the love and attention he deserves. He will provide you with endless affection and entertainment. Could he be your perfect sidekick?
