SAVE THE DATE: June 7/2025 @ 7 pm Aluna Art Foundation invites you to celebrate the inauguration of its new headquarters at the Tower Space in Little Havana—an opening that marks the beginning of a far-reaching curatorial initiative grounded in partnerships with Miami’s artistic community and international collaborators, aiming to generate sustained cultural transformation processes. The gallery forms part of an expansive project of exhibitions and other art projects conceived in partnership with Barlington Group to expand the experience of contemporary art in this emblematic Miami neighborhood by interconnecting it with a constellation of cultural organizations. On June 7th at 7:00 p.m., Aluna will inaugurate the gallery with the exhibition “The Aleph and Other Portals”, a curatorial project shaped collectively with participating artists Carola Bravo, Gretel Capriles, Agustín Di Luciano, Elfriede Fett-Crohare, Feco Hamburger, Ketzie Funk, Flor Godward, Ronald Morán, Mareo Rodríguez, and Gladys Triana; and with an on-site intervention by Sebastián Elizondo. The exhibition interweaves with Borges’ renowned short story and its evocative meditation on the possibility of glimpsing the universe from the least expected places. The Aleph and Other Portals’ production was made possible with the support of the Tower Hotel, DC Foundation Miami, Janaina Torres Galeria, and 108 ArtProjects.
