September 6th, 2023 The United Way of Cecil County Board of Directors has accepted the resignation of Executive Director Melissa Tapp. The Board deeply appreciates Melissa's service since her Executive Director tenure began in July 2022 and her prior United Way of Cecil County Board Member contributions. The United Way of Cecil County Board of Directors oversees all aspects of the organization's programs, community outreach and partner support. The Board is committed to continuing community support, the interim transition of the organization and to our Mission: We mobilize the power of caring individuals and groups to promote a healthy, safe community where everyone can reach their full potential. I've had the privilege of meeting countless remarkable individuals, gaining deep insights into the issues that truly matter to the people of Cecil County, and rolling up my sleeves to actively participate in creating positive change in our communities.
