She’s the founder and designer behind D’Obvious Rose, a fashion brand she started when she was only nine years old! With creativity in her roots and strong ties to her Guyanese heritage, Sapphire designs with heart, confidence, and purpose. A recent graduate of Brooklyn Tech, she’s heading to the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) this fall to continue chasing her dreams in fashion and entrepreneurship. At our recent luncheon, Sapphire didn’t just accept her award, she lit up the room with a stunning runway show featuring her original designs, modeled by our very own Young Women’s Leadership Academy graduates.
