The Friends of Arlington’s David M. Brown Planetarium is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, incorporated in May 2010, whose purpose is to support the Arlington planetarium and promote public science education. THE PURPOSE FOR WHICH THE ORGANIZATION IS ORGANIZED IS TO SUPPORT THE RENOVATION AND CONTINUED USE OF ARLINGTON'S DAVID M BROWN PLANETARIUM, TO PROMOTE AWARENESS AND COMMUNITY USE OF THE FACILITY, AND PROVIDE GRANTS AND SCHOLARSHIPS TO FUND STEM EDUCATION.
