𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗠𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗢𝗳 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘆!! Saturday, September 27th was a banner afternoon at the Weekend Bagged Lunch Program. The fantastic volunteers from Metropolitan Community Church of the Lehigh Valley served up 113 delicious turkey sandwiches to anyone in the community who came to the shelter door. 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘇𝗲𝗿 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝗚𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗿𝘀!! Sausage and pepper sandwiches, hot dogs, and all the trimmings were on the Weekend Bagged lunch Program menu Sunday, September 21st thanks to the legendary Freezer Food Ministry and Garden Gatherers. Altogether they prepared and served 88 lunches to people in Bethlehem seeking help with food security issues. We can't thank you enough FFM & GGs for your kind support and hard work on behalf of people in our community! (fb)
