Our adoption coordinators have the first eyes on the available pups, and the first step to adopt is always applying for an adoption coordinator. Do not let her age fool you, she can keep up with young, playful dogs. This lovely girl has excellent house manners—she’s fully house-trained, doesn’t get on furniture, and doesn’t need to be crated. Mandy enjoys her daily walks using an Easy-Walk harness and only gives a little tug if a squirrel dares to say hello. She sometimes takes a few breaks while eating, so her foster mom adds a little wet food to keep things delicious. She takes treats gently and is always polite. Mandy adores people, but she loves to play with other pups. She recently joined her foster mom at the office where she explored and happily greeted coworkers with a wagging tail. Mandy even ran down the hallways for a few joyful zoomies! Toys are a new concept—she’s starting to show interest, though squeaky ones still surprise her. Mandy is easy, fun, affectionate, and ready to fill your days with love and laughter. Our service area covers VA, MD, DC, PA, WV, DE and NC, with most dogs fostered in MD or VA (we do not provide a specific location, as a dog may move while in our care).
