In Laos, AHF’s 'Food For Health' program supports families with both nourishment and care. After receiving mushroom farming training in late 2024, this family began growing their first crop with support from AHF and our local partner, APLplus. Their harvest has improved food security at home, created income, and helped keep them engaged in HIV care. In April 2025, we visited the family to see their progress and share dried catfish—another product of the Food For Health program. With a large garden already in place, they’re now exploring fish farming as their next step.
