Meet our amazing 2025 summer teaching artists! Casey Marie Holmes is a theatre artist based in the twin cities with over a decade in theatre education. This is her 3rd Summer with YPC. She has also worked for companies such as Children's Theatre Company, Phipps Center for the Arts, Prairie Fire Children's Theatre, and Northern Starz. During the school year she directs musicals with Minneapolis Middle Schools with Project Success. She also is the Artistic and Education Director of Locally Grown Theatre based inCottage Grove. Casey loves working with student actors because of their expansive imagination and unique outlooks on the world. Sophie La Fave (she/they) is a musical theatre performer, teaching artist, and writer based in Minneapolis, MN. She is passionate about the development of new works and future generations of theatre making. They recently graduated from Viterbo university with a BFA in Musical Theatre and a minor in Arts Administration. She also teaches at Children’s Theatre Co.
