Our Mission We are a private nonprofit organization that assists DC residents with significant disabilities to live independently in their homes and in their communities. Our Services Information and Referral DCCIL provides disabilityspecific information and referral to ensure people with disabilities have access to information needed to achieve or maintain independence in their communities. Independent Living DCCIL provides disabilityspecific information and referral to ensure people with disabilities have access to information needed to achieve or maintain independence in their communities. Peer Counseling DCCIL preserves its integrity as a grassroots organization by implementing peer support to achieve objectives set by the disability community itself.
