The mission of the Down Syndrome Association of the Mid-Columbia is to enhance the lives of individuals with Down syndrome by providing support, resources and information to families and community members and by promoting a heightened awareness and a TO ENHANCE THE LIVES OF INDIVIDUALS WITH DOWN SYNDROME BY PROVIDING SUPPORT, RESOURCES AND INFORMATION TO FAMILIES AND COMMUNITY MEMBERS AND BY PROMOTING A HEIGHTENED AWARENESS AND ACCEPTANCE OF INDIVIDUALS WITH DOWN SYNDROME.

HOME GROUPS FUNDRAISING EVENTS Events Pictures More ABOUT DSAMC The mission of the Down Syndrome Association of the MidColumbia is to enhance the lives of individuals with Down syndrome by providing support resources and information to families and community members and by promoting a heightened awareness and acceptance of individuals with Down syndrome. Chris and Zelene Fowler together with Aaron and Heather Jensen founded the Down Syndrome Association of the MidColumbia DSAMC. After Chris and Zelene39s second child Henry was born with Down syndrome the families were inspired to form what came to be known as the DSAMC. Chris and Aaron are longtime best friends which added to the passion put into this nonprofit organization.
