We Are Blues In the Ozarks Our STORY PRESERVATION OF AN ART FORM The Ozarks has been a hotbed for some of the best Blues in the country. Legendary greats such as Norman Jackson Don Shipps Vic Vaughn the Bluesberries the Bel Airs begat generations of Ozarks Blues originals like Papa Green Shoes Nathan Bryce Sister Lucille and a host of others to continue the tradition of Blues music in the Ozarks. We strive to not only preserve our flavor of Americas original musical artform but dedicate ourselves to its growth. Since 1991 our goals have been to encourage appreciation of the Blues an original American music to provide a forum in the Ozarks for performance of the Blues at live events and on radio and television to educate and entertain the people of the Ozarks to provide an organization through which people can share their common love of the Blues and to join with similar organizations to accomplish the forgoing goals.
