Join Nidal (@nidal.nyc) and Rosa (@_cannes68.official) this Monday as we discuss the lessons we’ve learned in the last 20 months from witnessing the steadfast Palestinian resistance. Using footage we put together, as well as sharing insights from our time in Egypt providing aid to people evacuating Gaza, we will discuss the history and nature of the Palestinian resistance, martyrdom, the logic behind Operation Al Aqsa Flood, and the recent escalation between Israel and Iran, amongst other topics. We hope this screening creates a collective space to discuss unfolding events in the region and how we can create a culture that celebrates resistance at home. Donations will be collected for May Day Space and for a Palestinian family currently residing in Cairo. (fb)
