9/11 is a date forever etched in the American psyche. Today we remember and honor the 2,563 civilians and 441 First Responders who lost their lives 24 years ago and those whose lives were forever changed. We recognize and honor the more than 48,579 First Responders and clean-up workers who suffer from or have died from 9/11 related cancers and continue to struggle with PTSD and suicidal ideation. We give thanks to the brave women and men in the US Miliary who have served, sacrificing their lives and well-being in the many years of battle since that date in 2001. #neverforget (fb)
