He will also need to be neutered at the appropriate time, a routine procedure that offers many health and behavioral benefits. Currently, Bear is a picture of good health, and we are dedicated to ensuring he continues to thrive on this happy and healthy path! Many of the fur babies that are in our care lack prior history due to them mainly being surrenders or strays. As we continue to gather more information, we hope to hear from you soon! It is safe to assume that if they are now at Stella’s Sanctuary, their past did consist of many adversities. To ensure that they never face those again, we are requiring proof of standard care. All pets in the home must have standard vaccines such as rabies, dhpp (we accept titer testing), and heartworm prevention. We ask that all pets in the home are altered (spayed/neutered) unless it has been medically advised not to (such as an illness or age).
