Does you or your child have a disability? check this out: We are opening registration for our next sled hockey clinic. It will be held Saturday September 27th from 4:30-6:30pm at Palm Beach Skate Zone. Participants will begin dressing at 4pm. We invite persons of all ages with disabilities, and their family members, to try this exciting, adaptive sport. No experience is needed, and we supply all the equipment and volunteers to assist. This clinic is sponsored by a donation from Play Kind Tourneys. Pre-registration is mandatory, and space is limited! 3Tiny Melania received an adorable pink #Freedom #nxt tilt-in-space wheelchair in front of a group of sponsors from the #banyansprings Women's Club. This is the third child in 10 years that these loving women sponsored, helping us provide the child with medically necessary mobility equipment! Her parents Amber and Francisco, her grandparents, and aunt and uncle also attended the presentation. Melania is years old, with #cerebralpalsy, and her insurance does not cover a wheelchair for until she is 5. With the wonderful help of Mike, the ATP of Options Mobility, we were able to provide the perfect wheelchair for her unique physical needs. Club member Sheila, also part of #projectlinus, presented her with a hand knit blanket as a loving gift and our vice-president, Trish Maier, gave Melania a new doll in its own wheelchair!
