At the West Platte Education Foundation, we believe in showing up for our students - not just at graduation, but every step of the way. Our support goes beyond scholarships. It's backpacks, musical instruments, shoes, class trips, and sometimes... it’s a baseball glove. Recently, we received these powerful words from a coach and student that reminded us exactly why we do what we do: 🗣️ "I am writing to express my gratitude for providing one of our players with his first baseball glove. He has overcome many personal challenges this past year and your glove donation initiated a bolt of confidence for our young leader to take a risk and try something new. I encouraged him to go out for baseball for the first time and he stepped up to the challenge.
