It's #mentalhealthawarenessmonth. Mental health matters—especially in every school, for every student. Today, we spent time with our incredible Soaring Hawk mentors at @armwoodhighschool who serve as peer mentors, creating safe spaces for conversation, support, and understanding. Whether it’s managing stress or just needing someone to talk to, our Soaring Hawks peer mentors are helping to build a positive school culture that benefits all. They are so dedicated that even our graduating seniors came back to test drive our new mental health game! Thanks to @tampabaythrives for supporting this important work! (fb)

Who We Are We Believe. Alliance for Public Schools was formed in Florida in 2012 in response to chronically low public school funding educator pay that ranks near the bottom of the country and harmful policies for students. Alliance for Public Schools was founded by parents and community members who believe that public education must be a shared community value and priority worthy of investment. Together we champion meaningful engagement in support of students educators and our public schools and advocate for increased funding and policies that promote student success.
