They walk away with life-saving knowledge and an understanding of how fast action can save lives during a stroke. Summit Christian Academy students recently visited Riverside’s Simulation Training Lab, where they learned how to BEFAST in recognizing stroke symptoms, practiced Hands-Only CPR, and toured the cath lab to see how specialists treat strokes by restoring blood flow in the brain.
