UNCLE DAVES HOUSING Safe and Affordable Housing for Men in South Los Angeles Serving Los Angeles Since 2010 Mission The Mission of Uncle Daves Housing is to provide quality safe and affordable housing for men in need with support and opportunities to help them establish a solid foundation for their second chance in life and enable them to make purposeful lives. Our Mission Approach We follow the Housing First model which emphasizes the importance of stable housing being the foundation for the homeless to improve their quality of life. Our outstanding housing is designed to create a sense of belonging making it feel like home rather than just another place to stay. Statistics show that when people are proud of where they live their selfesteem and dignity are boosted which is essential for a stable and better life.
