Introducing Leslie and Lauren, both members of Team FSHD. Leslie and Lauren are running the 2025 Twin Cities marathon this weekend. Meet each of our runners! Leslie had this to say: Every mile I run is a reminder of how much of a gift movement truly is. Facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy (FSHD) slowly takes away that gift; weakening the muscles that let us walk, run, smile, and hug the people we love. I’m running not just for me, but for everyone who can’t. For the families hoping, the fighters pushing through, and the future where this disease no longer steals freedom. With your support, we can fuel research, spread awareness, and give hope where it’s needed most.
