A powerful moment of recognition on national television! 🎉 As part of her Mother’s Day special, The Jennifer Hudson Show honored Principal Dea Tramble of Alliance Ouchi-O’Donovan High School for 15 years of dedication to South L.A. scholars. Jennifer Hudson surprised her with heartfelt thank-you videos from scholars and staff, a visit from her family, and a much-deserved vacation getaway, recognizing all she does for her 600 scholars, her team, and her two children at home. We’re incredibly proud to have Principal Tramble as part of our #OneAlliance family. Her story exemplifies what it means to lead with purpose and heart. This AANHPI Heritage Month, meet Sally Kim, a film history and yearbook teacher at Alliance Ted K. Tajima High School! Sally has been an Alliance educator for the last seven years, inspiring our scholars and community. Her passion for teaching, creating, and growth within her AANHPI representation has deepened her pride in her heritage. When students get excited about K-pop, Korean food, or language, Sally loves speaking with them in Korean. “It took time to realize my cultural identity was part of who I am,” she shares. “Now I proudly embrace my culture and traditions.” #AANHPImonth (fb)
