💛 Children and adolescents who experience the death of a parent (or someone of integral, emotional development) need our support and understanding. These kids face higher rates of depression, anxiety, and even an increased cardiovascular risk when they reach adulthood! One way we can help is to provide them safe, engaging spaces to learn about their grief and have others to talk to about their story. Their brains are developing WHILE processing the profound emotions that come from grief. Sounds exhausting, right? Which is why we need to give them the tools they need to continue to heal in healthy ways. We have a Summer Grief Camp for teens, aged 14-18, August 6th.
