We’re proud to see Hello Saathi featured in The Logical Indian — not just as a recognition of the work, but of the people, partnerships, and purpose driving it forward. Our journey was first recognised in 2023 through the JUNOON Awards, an initiative by GOONJ and its incredible ecosystem. That recognition helped us bring this story to a wider audience — showing how a simple helpline is helping shift menstrual health from a private struggle to a public priority — centering care, choice, and dignity for every menstruator. Through thousands of conversations, Hello Saathi is also helping us uncover a deeper truth: menstrual health is not just a hygiene issue — it’s a vital and a crucial contributor to a person’s overall health and wellbeing. And when we listen closely, we hear not just questions, but unmet needs, delayed diagnoses, and systemic gaps in care. We’re deeply grateful to the JUNOON team for spotlighting our story once again — and to our callers, collaborators, and community champions who continue to shape this movement with care and courage. 💜 📰 Read the story: (fb)
To mark #internationalmenstrualhygieneday2025, MHHub | Uninhibited brought together voices from global health, education, and philanthropy to spotlight menstrual health as a core public health and gender equity issue—not just a hygiene concern. Thank you to everyone who joined the webinar — we're grateful for your presence and engagement. For those who couldn't make it, we've compiled key insights and takeaways, along with the full recording, so you can catch up and stay connected to the conversation. During the webinar, Pragna Shekar moderated a critical conversation with Dr. Arundati Muralidharan, Francesca Mazzola, Dr. Mandikudza Tembo, and Megan Mukuria, exploring menstrual health conditions, care gaps, and public health pathways. The panel spotlighted why menstrual health must be recognised as a public health priority—backed by evidence, lived experience, and intersectional, local solutions.
