Skilled workers in advanced manufacturing and construction are in high demand across Arizona. With a $3 million investment, the Blackstone Charitable Foundation is expanding access to training and financial support for careers in these growing fields. By 2033, the state is expected to add more than 30,000 jobs in advanced manufacturing and 37,000 in construction. The program will help students gain the skills and certifications needed to meet that demand and strengthen Arizona’s workforce. Arizona State University and Maricopa Community Colleges will partner with the Center for the Future of Arizona, the Greater Phoenix Chamber and other local organizations to connect more students to these high-demand trades.
