The Kiwanis Club of Stuart, the Stuart Rotary Club and other volunteers joined together during the annual Kiwanis "Celebrate Community" event that brings together organizations for community service. For this event, volunteers worked at the Treasure Coast Food Bank's Mobile Food Pantry held at Martin County Fairgrounds distributing food to local residents in need. Building Bookshelves, Building Futures! The Kiwanis Club of Stuart is on a mission to improve literacy in Martin County—one bookshelf at a time! In partnership with Healthy Families – Helping People Succeed, we recently built and delivered bookshelves filled with 400 books to 20 families. Over the past two years, our club has proudly provided more than 1,400 books to families through Family Promise, Habitat for Humanity, and 4Kids. Every shelf we build and every book we give is an investment in a child’s future. Together, we’re turning pages into possibilities.
