This week, our youth showed up in a powerful way as they prepared and delivered over 50 meals to those in need in Fort Worth, Texas. Through this community service event, our students learned what it truly means to care for others and be present for people who often go unseen. Sometimes the smallest acts of kindness can leave the biggest impact. “I was nervous at first because it’s something I’ve never done, but now that it’s over I feel really good inside that I helped someone. It really meant something when one of the gentlemen I gave a bag to shook my hand and gave me a hug you could tell he really needed that meal.
