Good news! After discussing our plans to transition Fostering Fantasy into a more arts-focused nonprofit, many in the community have expressed their disappointment. Our mission to use in-person games to teach socio-emotional skills to disadvantaged youth resonates far more with our supporters, and some of you have made donations of Magic the Gathering and D&D products to keep that mission alive. We are so grateful for the empathetic responses we received from our last post, and are happy to be able to continue with our original mission! We look forward to continuing our monthly outreach events and getting our new pilot program started before the end of the year. (fb)

Empowering disadvantaged youth through the power of Fantasy Supporting foster youth in Central Florida Tabletop Games We believe in the importance of inperson experiences in building meaningful social connections. That is why our program utilizes traditional tabletop games. Creative Thinking Our program encourages youth to use their imagination to solve problems. Games played in our program such as Dungeons and Dragons reward creative players.
