Today we remember the tragic events of 9/11/2001. We remember the tragedy turning into unity and resolve. Our nation stood proud and unified as one. Through camaraderie, compassion and love, we took care of one another. These emotions endure for those still feeling the effects of 9/11. My friend and neighbor, Kenny Marino with FDNY Rescue 1 was the epitome of a great father and public servant. Kenny was last seen on the 70th floor of the South Tower. His remains were never found. On Wednesday, August 27th 2025, Kristin Marino was married. Although her father Kenny couldn’t be there, she was escorted by new and retired Firefighters from her father’s Fire House as she rode to her wedding venue in the Rescue 1 Fire Truck. NEVER FORGET . We are a united professional association of probation employees assembled to provide representation and advocacy for fair compensation and improved work conditions. The Board of Directors meet monthly through the use of video conferencing.
