Our mission is to catalyze an integrated community of scholar-activists who are designers of a more just world. Social Justice School is a public charter middle school in Ward 5 Washington, DC educating designer TO PROVIDE A FREE PUBLIC EDUCATION TO MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS IN GRADES FIVE THROUGH EIGHT. THE SCHOOL IS AN OPEN ENROLLMENT SCHOOL OPEN TO ANY WASHINGTON DC RESIDENT. THE SCHOOL BEGAN WITH 50 STUDENTS, ADDING 75 EACH YEAR UNTIL REACHING FULL CAPACITY AT 300 STUDENTS.
