It's never too early to get 'em started! Today, Troy Porter, director of facilities, construction & development for WesleyLife, brought a buddy to work: his 2-year-old son, Jax. They stopped at The Village, A WesleyLife Community in Indianola to check progress on the community's $49.5 million redevelopment — the largest campus reinvestment in WesleyLife’s 78-year history! Under Troy's (and Jax's) direction, the project is transforming the campus with brand-new independent living apartments and townhomes; a skilled nursing addition with all-private suites; a fully updated kitchen for restaurant-style dining; new culinary and fitness hubs; and outdoor amenities such as a pickleball court, dog park, and gathering spaces The investment will allow The Village to welcome 80 more residents, create up to 30 new jobs, and ensure the campus can continue serving Warren County with excellence and innovation in mind for years to come. Jax reports that the project is progressing nicely.
